Unfortunetely much easier to "effect entry" with those fitted due to the shape and knurling.

The knurling, easily gripped with tools or fishing line. No real need to touch those buttons on a daily basis other than with your eyes to give a visual indication telling you the door is locked or unlocked unless you need to to lock the door in a panic. Ask an AA or RAC tech about "effecting entry" to your vehicle without breaking glass. Wedges in the door frame or window and pull that, up and much easier on pillarless vehicles. How do you get to that conclusion?
And if the button sits flush with the top of the door when it's closed and only the small unknurled dome is visible, then what ?The knurling, easily gripped with tools or fishing line. Slip the fishing line loop down the gap in the button hole and onto the knurling. And if the button sits flush with the top of the door when it's closed and only the small unknurled dome is visible, then what ?
You really are a charmer.Slip the fishing line loop down the gap in the button hole and onto the knurling.
That on mine has just cost me £121 for a new heater fan[C216] - Replaced the drain valve in the cabin air intake (item 50), not easy, lots of fiddling, but a good chance to remove leaves and dirt under the starter battery. Also checked the emergency drain (60) to ensure it was able to move freely.

Checking sunroof drains, and I find this
Thankfully only surface rust, but I was shocked. Treated with rust converter and then POR-15, will follow up with Dynax S-50
Will be checking the other side and keeping them both on my surveillance list!
