Whole car judders/wobbles when brake is on

Hi I've recently just bought a used c220 from mercedes and in the last 2 weeks randomly when I am stopped in traffic with the brake on or with 'hold' on the whole car judders/wobbles??? I've read about just steering column juddering but this is the whole car!! Feels like it would be noticeable if someone was looking at the car from outside.Can anyone give advice please? I have booked it into mercedes but not until next week. Thanks for any advice!

If you are stopped, the the brakes are not involved. Sounds like your motor is not running smoothly and is wobbling around.

Engine mounts/misfiring. Its very hard to diagnose something like that over the forum without seeing it.

Must be a fairly modern C class with 'Hold'?

How recently did you buy from MB? Simply take it back under warranty?

Slight misfire on warm up can cause the engine to vibrate a little. Mine does this, then sweet once warmed up.. 200k though...

Yes it's under warranty It's 2011 plate. Sometimes they try and fob you off so I just wondered if anyone had come across this. It does it randomly so not just until the car is warmed up.Thanks for the reply I'll see what they say!
