Hi thanks for letting me join.
I got a letter from MB informing me that the warranty on my car is coming to an end. I bought the car used last year.
I am wondering if I should bother as the quote from MB for 2 years is just shy of a grand. I drive just around my local area and once or twice to Germany. To be honest I expect things to work for a long time being a Merc. I am a sporty driver but not a rough one. Lol. A lady driver with two big dogs in the back, hence the big car.
But it does have many electrical gadgets which could go wrong.
Or should I look at other companies offering same for less?
I have gap cover on the car already which I bought away from Mercedes as their quote was way too high too at the time. But that won’t help at a breakdown.
I also have AA cover for breakdowns.
Now being widowed money is tighter and I need to make sure I am not wasting it on unnecessary stuff.
Is it worth it or just one big rip off?
