Put a napkin over the armrest as it was too hot to rest on - air con working beautifully and gearbox smooth as silk (thanks to MBS)

Anyone else noticed that the latest Mercedes Actros lorries don’t have wing mirrors... I’ve seen a couple now, they just have very aerodynamic camera pods high up from the top of the cab. I bet they improve the fuel efficiency and are much cheaper to make.

Nothing much exciting: dropped it off at MB Northampton for a D service tomorrow (sparks, brake fluid, all filters), got a C200 estate 59-reg as a courtesy car, seriously disliked just about everything about it, particularly psychotic brakes and 201 buttons and controls on the steering wheel ... thankfully I'll get my car back tomorrow, so only 14 miles more to drive in this thing ...

Left with mechanic. Car is down on power when driving as well. Not sure what the problem is.

Could be timing chain tensioner but if garage knows what hes doing he will fibd the issue fairly easily
