1993 W124 220CE COUPE WONT START:(

My 220ce wont start, after i recently put new fuel lines on, the car had always struggled abit to start. its mot was today and i couldnt even get there.
it cranks but wont seem to go any further, started once for a few seconds then died again straigh away.
ive got a feeling its something to do with fuel, could i have possibly flooded it by pressing the throttle too much trying to start it? \
help needed PLEASE

Sorry to hear this .And on your mot test day. Could not have gone down some other time ,but to-day . Plugs out, dry them off on the stove . Re fit them and try it again ,with out foot on the gas .As your doing this pop the charger on the battery to boost it up a little. Let us know if it starts up ..
