C Class - C220 Coupe 2002.

Yes indeed, the dreaded rust rears its ugly head. I have been trying to find a replacement passenger side front wing and while I can find the saloon front wing for peanuts, the Coupe appears to carved from pickled Unicorns and Pixies. A rare beasty indeed.

Does anyone know where I may be able to get a pattern front wing? I'm guessing that an original Merc wing would be...prohibitive!

Any hints and tips (on subject) gratefully received!

Cheers folks. :D

I have been surfing ebay for quite a while, looking for that elusive front wing. I've seen a few second hand ones, but I'm not keen on that, unless they can prove its post 2005 and therefore galvanised.

I would rather buy a new pattern part, but the new ones tend to be marked as "not coupe" and the new ones for the coupes are often over £200 rather than £40 for the saloon.

I was rather hoping that there would be a Merc parts specialist that you guys on here would know about.

Thanks for the response though. Always appreciated.

Spot on. Ordered the wing... still about £140 all in, but way less than the £250 plus delivery that Euro who ha was charging. Many thanks for the link, much appreciated.
