Hi, I'm pretty new to owning a Mercedes.
Currently have an A220d W176. Still getting used to it and familiar with the car.
The car has this keyless-go, oddly when I turn off the ignition and open the door the steering wheel does to lock (everything else however turns off, radio etc), previous car my BWM, you hear the electronic steering lock kick in and the steering becomes solid.
I have noticed this does not happen on my a220d. - I have check fuses (apparently fuse 62 however there is no housing for the fuse to sit in. So makes me think does this car really not have a steerling lock? (I'll try to upload a pic).
The steerling does become stiff and yes would probably be impossible to steer, however, I thought the aclass would have some kind of noticeable steerling lock noise etc.
Wonder if someone can help, would be much appreciated
Thanks!
