Just wondering, has anyone tried adjusting their latch yet on a 209? Big thanks to Malcolm - googling I found someone say the end trim panel on the diagram Malcolm emailled needs to be prised off, then there is a white wheel inside, reachable with a long flathead screwdriver, which is turned to adjust the latch cable. But I'm yet to open it up to be honest (I hate pulling off trim in case I break something, but will summon up the courage soon!)

All of the end covers are just clipped on the ends of the dash, gently ease away and they pop off

Ease away the front end, as the rear end is held against the door seal

Hi,
I think I've got the same problem. The catch on my glove box is loose. It's not obvious how to tighten it as I have a CD player in there. Could you forward the info to me.
Many thanks
Sel

Malcolm,

I have just bought a 55 Clk, the glovebox does not shut unless I push it in so hard.

Please can you forward your notes to me for rectify this problem? Or do I need new part for the latch/lock mechanism on the glovebox cover?
