Hi all,

I've had a look around but I can't find another problem quite like this.

Every time I start her up the revs drop just below where they should sit for about 3-5 seconds which makes the car really rattle. It's fine after that. Any ideas?

It's a 2004 with 121k on the clock. It had the dreaded black death starting about a year ago so I had the injectors resealed and had them checked again about 5 or 6 months ago and there were no leaks still.

Not sure where to start (haven't had it on a Star system)

You should get live data, what is rail pressure doing during rattle, and injector correlation values. There could be air in fuel, is there air bubbles running (at start) in clear fuel lines?

I will profess I'm not of a particularly mechanical mind. Can I get live data from a normal obd reader or would I have to have it in a star system for that?

Not sure where the fuel lines are to check? I did also have some fuel (pipes? ) which were near the injectors replaced when the injectors were resealed as they were corroded.

Thank you

Another thing to mention is that if I've been running about in the car and its up to operating temperature it doesn't happen.
