. I think it's unfair as anyone can write a thread on a forum and ruin the reputation of someone to new potential clients quite easily.

Just out of interest have you used the company in question?? and do you honestly believe that members of any forum should only be allowed to post what they consider great service .With disregard to those that have recieved the opposite

(ps thanks Rob and has anyone got an injector loom for homer)

But sometimes there are some people that will go to great lengths to try and discredit someone or their business, we have had other example of this in the past on here and on another forum, I think we all know what that was about.

It turns out there were 2 sides to this story and once it was countered the person doing the defaming didnt have the guts to come on here and apologise for what was written and for only telling half truths, Nick was obviously being truthful in his post as it went unchallenged.

One word for people like that - spineless.

There are two sides to every story Steve (and you know them both)???

In defence of euromerc, I went on the website knowing exactly what I wanted. I ordered the parts online. The correct parts were delivered, reasonably promptly and were well packed. My only minor complaint was that even though all the parts were delivered in the same parcel, the postage for each part was charged individually - making the postage more expensive than it needed to be. However, as the parts were half the retail price, I still made a considerable saving. This is an internet based trading company and someone has to source, store, list, pick, pack & post - which all takes time. Overall I would say the service was very good and I would have no hesitation about using euromerc in the future.

And finally, there are some real moaning minnies in this thread and I've found some of the negative comments pretty disturbing. To those who've bitched so loudly, I say get real and give the guy a break. Anyone can go to the main dealer and pay full price, but euromerc offer genuine new parts at a big saving, and no one gets it right 100% of the time.

I have no connection with euromerc.

Thanks for the feedback, I can see that the postage costs can add up a bit and from the new year I'll change things around so that there's just a flat rate for orders over a certain amount.

Expect a full range of oil/air/fuel filters as well as a better range of brake parts in the coming months.

By the first week in Jan I should have finished the new warehouse, so they'll be 6000sqft of parts nicely organised on new racking and bins for immediate despatch (something that has not always happened in the past...) or collection if you fancy a trip into the Surrry Hills (10 mins from A3, half hour or so from M25)

I don't really spend much time on this forum, but will try to make more time to do so, so if anyone has any questions or problems, please PM me or email me.

If the mods agree, I'd be happy to offer some really special deals to forum members, free shipping etc, but that does depend a bit the forum owners/mods.

You're welcome. I do think it's a good idea to combine postage costs, or introduce a flat rate. As an example, I placed a large(ish) order with a specialist Mercedes parts supplier in Berlin last year. Their policy is to charge a flat rate. It's the same rate for one item as for many. I took advantage of this policy to order multiple items at the same time, reducing the net cost per item considerably. A win win situation - the overall cost to me was lower and the company sold more units. It does work!

Good luck with your service level improvements for 2011.

My patience is starting to wear a little thin with Euromerc. In August last year I ordered a couple of parts - a front foglight and wheel arch panel. The foglight came almost immediately so thumbs up and no problems there, however the panel still hasn't arrived and Nick's legendary failure to communicate is annoying.

I managed to get through to him on the phone a month or so after my initial order and he said that he couldn't locate the panel in the warehouse, but would probably find it when he relocated to new premises. Since then I've heard nothing and he hasn't replied to my many emails and calls. If he still can't locate the panel then so be it, refund my money and I'll get it from Mercedes, but doing nothing is unacceptable.

I shall try and be objective here, Euromerc have supplied me on a couple of times efficiently and that is fine,
But you have to take on board these persistent complaints Nick they can't all be moaners and whingers.
Most of us are previous/potential customers and would prefer you to stay around.

I raised a dispute with PayPal but they couldn't do anything as it is outside of their 45 day dispute policy. I've now contacted Trading Standards and thereafter Consumer Direct and will be following up on their advice.

Euromerc's Terms & Conditions states :

"6.2 Whilst we will try to deliver your order within 3-14 days (depending on the delivery address) you should allow up to 28 days for delivery."

After 30 days that contract expires and a refund should be given.

I know Nick has read this and yet still he fails to respond!

To conclude my situation, I received a refund from Euromerc today so thanks to them for that.

It's likely that Euromerc will have several parts that I'll need as my refurb gets nearer to a conclusion, but this episode has led me to a decision never to use them again, however cheap the parts might be. I'm actually having quite a bit of luck on Parts Reunited and have just bought several parts from various MB dealers at hugely discounted prices.

I recently needed a couple of rear wheel bearing repair kits, RRP is £107 + VAT each but I got one for £32.10 + VAT from Inchcape Oxford via Parts Reunited, bargain! I still need another though.

after reading the posts about lack on service i was reluctant
to buy from euromerc but on phoning them i placed my
order for a door glass and was extremely pleased with the price and quick delivery
i would recommend euromerc to all members as they are no longer
the company described in some of the posts

No problem with euromerc , they are good guys. I've had loads of stuff off them , all delivered quickly and sometimes even in person.

Give them a ring to discuss the parts you need first if you are concerned.

Based on threads made on this forum and the other customer satisfaction seems to be inconsistant at best
