63 plate CLS shooting brake,2.2D SWMBO has 14 plate B class diesel
looks like a means of stopping the ratchet strap holding the beam down from slipping off the end of the beam. presumably its windy where you are today

looks like a means of stopping the ratchet strap holding the beam down from slipping off the end of the beam. presumably its windy where you are today

It certainly was windy, hence the ratchet strap holding the beam from toppling, but not the answer we are looking for. ;)

Phew, and there was I trying to think of a suitable comment about anchors being for boats where the water is kept outside rather than cars that keep the water in the boot!:p:D:eek::eek:

I had delayed an up date due to my respect for Sabine as it was on the same motor discussion title :)
However I am back now and there has been a good bit of progress late last week with the addition of the rafters being positioned on to the steel at the front of the build.

He'll be back Monday and weather permitting we'll have all up, plus the batons and building paper (or what ever the correct term is) and the ends for the barge board's by Wednesday??
Apparently there has been rumours going around according to my neighbour that we are building a bungalow :eek:
My other neighbour has seen 2 people walking up our driveway peering at what's being built :shock:

Should be able to have them in place tomorrow :cool:
