my first was a triumph herald then a Vauxhall cresta then a zodiac mk1 Cortina estate cappri then bmw 320 then bmw 520 last car was seat leon cupra had to change that from manual to auto due to ankle fusion operation pending so I got a trade in for a merc c200 k elegance auto which I am very pleased with

Turned 30 last month. This is my first merc ( clk280) pick up on the 15 August. Currently got a mazda rx8 and prior to that I've had a z4, bmw Mini Cooper and my first car a Renault Clio (75hp of fury:-D)

27, bought my first merc last week, an s class 320 from 2000.

I love it, I really look forward to driving it.

Previous cars were 2 Lexus GS 300s, one was great (Japanese import), one was horrid. A GS 300 sport which I still have as a second car, has a fantastic engine that's very loud. The worst car I had which I owned very briefly was a 1999 bmw 523. It was small, cramped, under powered,the steering was heavy and the throttle response was rubbish.

The s class is by far the best and most luxurious car I've owned. It's not as sporty as the GS300 but the power delivery on the s class feels so effortless.

Thinking of getting rid of the GS 300 and maybe adding an S430 instead

Got an e class now 23, but had s class' the lot really...

Just as I turned 20 I bought my 2001 CLK 320. Being a 3.2 v6 there a very few people that don't show surprise and proceed to ask how much my insurance is!

It's good fun asking people how much I paid for it too, guesses are almost always around triple the actual value

Owned a Vauxhall Corsa 2004 1.8 and you just can't beat mercedes quality , what a big jump it was but no regrets !

Bought myself a. W211 E270 CDI with panoramic roof. , avantgarde spec

First car was a 'slab-sided' (as they were known) Mark 1 Ford Consul - KDP 269Column gear change (3) and bench seat. I knew nothing about cars but went to night school for a Car Maintenance course. Within weeks, I had taken the head off, reground the valves (in front of the living room fire on a pale blue carpet!), put new shell bearings in the crank shaft and re-ringed the pistons with Hepolite Oilmaster rings.
That car was used daily for three years and went down to Cornwall from north Lancashire two years on the trot and the engine was still good when the body rotted away.
Today, I open the bonnet of the 320 CDi and it looks like a plumber's nightmare!!

I have just registered,I have had a merc for 10years plus,my first car was 2lagonda covert able cars on blocks in a garage I paid £12 for both and sold them the day after for £35.Wish I had them now.
