i'm interested in how you serviced it (what did you do, please explain) and how you reset the service interval, please share as i'll probably have to do the same on the wifes W169 soon

I have just returned from hols , and been presented with a new problem !
Mercedes have fitted new hydraulic pump and control , but now the display showed a sensor problem . I enquired about possible repair solutions only to be advised that the driver's side wheel hub was faulty , and non repairable , cost £ 600 plus fitting !
That means the bill now stands at , diagnostics : £ 324.00
Fit and supply part , brake fluid and sundries : £1360.00
Supply and fit new wheel hub : £ 600.00

Cost so far ( exc hub fit ) ,inc vat : £ 2284.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The car is probably worth used £ 4500- £5500 !!!!

What did i do to upset god almighty that i get hammered by this car ??????

ps : the dealer is very sympathetic , and asked me to sit down before the bill was read out . They also mentioned that this fault was also extremely rare, and in four years this is the second A class that they have fixed . The other one had a mere 25000 miles and had full mercedes service history !!!

Very reassuring , i think not !
