Yes, it’s all brands of car. The systems needed to clean emissions enough to pass strict standards is generally unreliable and expensive to repair.
Thanks for reply, but in same time I’ve have plenty friends with diesel cars and they didn’t have any of these problems and they’re not doing hundreds of miles every week. Maybe like hundred a week or something like that.

Do they have Euro 6 cars, with all the emission cleaning technology, or are theirs Euro 5 which have far less problems?

They have euro 6 for sure, I’m gonna ask to make sure which technology they have. So I’m going for petrol for sure, which specific engine shall I look for? Or all good?! Thanks for reply!

It's still a very simple exhaust smoke opacity test to within what is visable to the manufacturers smoke coefficient figure usually found on the main VIN .

With the C220 and C250 dervs you get sequential bi-turbos that are wastegated which makes for 0 turbo lag and very useable low rpm torque which means you can change up a gear yourself earlier than the gearbox for superior mpg .

The 250 has a larger main turbo hence higher figures in both torque and bhp which should increase driveabilty further and a bigger overtaking punch when required .

It might be a simple test, but the technology and chemistry required to meet the standards are far from simple.

It all starts and goes wrong with the devil valve which is the EGR , one positive to several negatives .

All,

Quick question please, sometimes I feel like my sat nav is a bit to slow and laggy? Read some stuff on internet like I need an update to the main dealer? Any advice about this?

Thanks a lot!

You probably have the Garmin system. You can buy updated maps but “laggy” suggests a firmware issue so not sure about that.

Is not just about the maps, it’s the navigation in general sometimes even when I’m looking through settings feel a bit “laggy”. When I been the Mercedes specialist for a check couple weeks ago I’ve asked about it and they said might need an update to software from main dealer. I’m gonna get in touch with them to see what they’re saying about.
Thank you.

You will have the same “operating system” as me (NTG5*2) and it shouldn’t be slow and laggy. Any decent Mercedes Specialist should be able to do a software update. Where are you based?

I live in Washington NE37. I had my car for a check to WMB mercedes specialist. And they told me to go to main dealer..
