- Your Mercedes
- W222 S Class
Hi All,
New member here and planning to get my first Mercedes(life long dream to own a S class).
Happened to find a nice S600 with low miles for a great price and it comes fully loaded with all extras. I had a couple of questions and have exhausted most online searches and forums.
* when i went to see the car, the 2 front lights were a bit foggy/hazy when compared to others cars of similar age in the dealership parking lot. upon closer inspection i found some residue possibly from condensation on the inside. Upon asking the salesman he says condensation is normal in all Merc cars and that they will not look to replace if the lights work correctly. I am assuming the lights will work correctly but they look ugly with the haze and the residue.
Any feedback on such experiences and can i ask the dealer to replace before i pick the car up under warranty ?
* Do most of you take the service plan offered as the service costs seem fairly reasonable given the engine this car has ?
Thanks
