Problem importing contacts to Mercedes Command

Hi everyone- I hope someone will be able to help me with the problem I am having with the Command system on my Mercedes E class coupe.
I have recently had a really big update applied to my command system which now allows me to select 'import contacts' in the telephone menu, where previously before the update the option was greyed out and I couldn't import any of them.
Anyway, I soon realized that to import the contacts via bluetooth, all my contacts had to be stored to the phone, so I moved them all to the phone on my Samsung Tocco Ultra phone. I pressed 'import contacts' and then 'add' and my phone contacts were added to the address book. However I soon realised that not all my contacts were added- most of them were but there were a good number that didn't appear. I experimented a while and I moved 2 contacts on my phone back to the sim card and pressed 'overwrite' on the command and I saw one contact had been added which hadn't been there before- I'm sure if i had've looked I would've found another contact which wasnt there.
Therefore, does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount of contacts you can import at one time on this command system or does the address book have a storage limit? Should I add contacts a few at a time- like only move a few to the phone at a time?
Also, if I do manage to get all my contacts on, and I added a new one on my phone, which button would I press to just add this one contact- 'add' or 'overwrite?' I know that 'add' imports all the contacts again which means I the address book ends up woth two sets of identical contacts.

Thank you for reading this very complex and longwinded question but I knoew there are some very knowledgeable people on here!
I would appreciate your help!
Thanks again :D
