apologies if this as been asked before I'm new to the forums,

I need to replace 2 rear tyres on my Eclass 275/35/19, they are currently run-flats however im wondering if i need to put run-flats on or not as there is a huge difference in price so im wondering what are the pros and cons of run-flats? would i just be paying for the peace of mind that if i was to get a puncture i could continue to drive or is there another benefit to them

Many thanks

Just taken them off my BMW 4 series and it’s transformed the car, more comfortable and compliant with the road but if you do big miles on the motorway a I’d leave them on for peace of mind.

Normal tyres much more comfortable
Never , but what are you doing with the fronts

Fronts are still currently runflats with loads tread, im covered with the AA and will buy the spay for flats just the price is massive 80-to140 for normal and 200+ for run flats

You could change all 4 to normal tyres and then sell the fronts on eBay

Try the sites Camskill , Tyreleader, Oponeo , then some people use those prices to beat down their local tyre place to match them .
Uniroyal RainSport tyres have been popular on here , but it looks to me that their price has crept up a bit recently

Having watched the Panorama program on SMART m/ways, runflats now look better than ever!
