W204 ESL and MOTs

Hi, new to forum, having bought a 2014 W204 last July. After the ESL motor sounded weaker I bought and fitted and emulator which all works fine.
Question I have is the MOT is due in March, has anyone put their car through test with just the emulator?
Emulator makes a very quiet fake unlocking noise, so I guess a savvy MOT tester would know it's not the genuine steering lock.

HI Richard, thanks. I saw that. I was just looking for feedback from owners. In other words has anyone picked up a minor or advisory for the steering lock not engaging, or has everyone with just the emulator sailed plainly through the test?

I had an emulator fitted to my C350 CDI and it passed the mot without any advisories the last three times.
