Hi, hope somebody can give me some advice,basically the car has been stood for a long time,battery was changed and then it stood for a while longer,2yrs in total . Besides it standing i did notice condensation building up on the windows now and then, i had it valeted last week and the next day i went to start it up when the cluster started to flutter on and off.i recharged the battery and the next day tried it and the electric cluster was dead (blank),the perimeter speedo and rev counter has also stopped,the front external lights wont go off and indicators work but make no sound. The a/c,radio,windows etc all work .HELP..........

You do have 2 batteries on that car, are they both good.

Hi Malcolm,
Had to recharge main battery,only after it having a full charge a couple of days ago,now its charged again.Both Batteries are fully charged,checked all fuses (in 4 locations) and they are ok .Although now the central locking doesnt work off the fob and its batteries are ok,the speedo led's shows lights upto approx the 80mph marking,there is a fast ticking sound coming from the dashboard area,whereas the indicators didnt make a sound previous they do now,cluster is still off except for just mentioned,main headlights still on and cant turn off,and clock and speedo arms still not working.Help

The lights are on because the can bus isnt seeing a signal from the cluster, default! suspect the cluster has gone down!
