W246 Clunking Noise at low speed

Morning all, I've noticed recently that i have a clunking noise at low speeds, not sure if it's from the front suspension or rear however, it's only just started. As my benz is now 11 years old and we've had it from new, is this the start of suspension related problems?

Suspension linkages do wear over time, what's more they are easy to check and cheap to replace so I'd start there.
Fronts normally wear before rears, just because you have more of them.
Don't forget anti-roll bar to suspension arm linkages.
Have a feel over spring ends, just in case one has lost the last few inches. Ends should be flat and cut square across the end.

Is it more noticeable when driving over bumps? Does it only happen when you apply the foot brake and pull away?
