W447 afternoon interior fan noises

Hi guys, I'm new inhere so if I have chosen the wrong part of this forum, please bare with me...
I own a W447 for about two months now. I recently changed the Audio 15 into an Android head unit and is working great. I love the streaming part. Since it has been build in, I've noticed the interior fans running almost every afternoon. I don't know when they start, but they run almost every day around 4pm. It stops when I start the engine. I have read messages stating that this might be normal. I don't know... In the really cold days I have used the pre-heating system to defrost the windows etc. but that now is switched off. My question is, is this behavior is really normal and should I ignore it?

You sure dont have a timer somewhere to preset fan on time which is common in such larger van types.

I don't know. Surely the manual would say so if there is a timer? I read somewhere that the thermotronic could do that, but I have a tempmatic and there shouldn't be that function in it.

Our 447 cooling comes on as soon as the doors are opened..before the key is in the ignition.
