Yesterday, fixed the drl, ended up having to take the covers off to get at it as there was no real access from the wheel arch.
Ran it over to Birmingham for work and even with traffic I’m mightily impress every time I get mpg like this when I’m not hanging about,

Took a steady drive from our holiday cottage in Nevers to Euro Disney and back. Strange how i cant get above 45mpg in France but can see 50mpg in the UK on the same speeds with Cruise.

Im on diesel. I re fueled in folkstone before crossing the channel and got 5mpg less. It’ll be something daft like been on wrong side of the road

Yep , they make a very loud crunching sound apparently

Surprisingly no, it was the VW Caravelle. It ended up sat on the jacking pads on the ramps no sill damage at all and just an indentation in the top of my ramps.

Refitted the top to the 129 cubby.
Looks lovely and feels even better!

Just gone 150k in the 210.
Language is ok. I can usually get by without too much trouble. Our neighbours are French and they help us along. Michel doesn't speak much English so we have to speak to him in French and Corinne wants to learn English so she speaks to us in English and we speak to her in French.
We had an issue with tax d'habitation earlier this year so Corinne came with me and sorted it for us as I suspected they'd just play dumb with me.

Test drove the 55 up the road and back after new disc's, pads and alternator..........With 20 loose wheel bolts and I mean 'loose'! Man, more senior moments

Ours is in the Charente Maritime. Pretty much smack in the middle of La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Angouleme.
