My car has 7 gears and it will certainly be in top cruising at this speed on a flat road.

Mine has 9 and is in 9th at that speed when cruising.

Tried this today and on the flat, my 7g indeed does shift into 7th at exactly 56 on a flat.
My previous audi would do 7th closer to 65mph, which made motorway cruising less comfortable

Funnily enough I tested this last night on my way to work, and on a flat road with light throttle it shifted up to 7th at 55mph.
Once it is in that gear it will go slower and still stay in 7th as long as my right foot keeps a light enough pressure, but this is easy enough for me to do.
By coincidence I also had an Audi immediately previous to this...and a beautiful car it was too.

Set your cruise at “55“, you‘ll most likely be doing 52 mph in reality and won’t have an issue with average speed cameras

Did it on Waze and an HHT (Google) and 53 is 50

Not intentionally Matty, but they have been sitting around since I replaced them and now starting to tidy up the back yard they needed to go into the rubbish, they are very bulky and don't wont the bin overloaded so 'voila' like magic a bag of two halves They're little now too the air is gone.

I also bought four tickets despite Revolut randomly cancelling the virtual card I had setup with the Lotto… why stop at one MB if you win? SLS plus a G Wagon? XD

Got the 217 all cleaned up ready for the TRAX show at Silverstone on Sunday.

Unfortunately the weather forecast is horrendous for tomorrow, with lots of heavy rain, and this happens to be when I'm travelling down as I'm having an afternoon/early evening in Banbury, just because really.

Ah well, it may get a quick clean up on Sunday morning. Or not...
