I was just wondering if the gearbox software made it lumpy when it needed a service to persuade you to take it to the dealer.Forget the dealer, you have Cole@MBS Southampton on your doorstep!
It’s good to get away from the screen for adults as well as kidsHeard a few rattles recently from the back end of the car. Loose heat shield (again, different side).
The shield had given way in 2 places. Mananged to remove 1 nut, now replaced with a large washer underneath to compensate for the corroded area.
Temp fix (for a while).
My hands were dirty, can't remember the last they looked so black. Not usual for a keyboard tapper.
Washed and spray waxed. Not looking bad for 15 years.
Ordered some 25mm H&R DRA spacers yesterday, the arch extensions look a little unfilled.

I see lots of cars with flapping undertrays and wonder if the driver is aware or not. Interesting fix.For the first time since we've had the 210 it no longer has a slight vibration at 60 mph (felt like a wheel out of balance).
The cure? The rear undertray has been removed!
I noticed so damage to the leading edge of the rear section and suspect it was causing an aerodynamic effect under the car. That's the only thing that's changed and the vibration has gone!
I spent over 4 hours yesterday doing mine then woke up and a bird decided to empty its bowels right on the bonnet. Little ****erI do wonder if its worth cleaning cars these days, I spent over 2 hours cleaning 3 cars this morning and all of them have a layer of dust on them already
