I took all the seats out, went on the track had a great day , just come back and put all my seats back now tacking wife supermarket.

Washed properly for the first time in a month!
I never usually wait so long but with the sand dumping on the car so frequently all it got was a quick rinse over.
Resting with a coffee now before the Sonax BSD and tyre black.

All done ready for the nice weekend.
I can't get a decent shot of how the wheels sparkle in the sunshine but they are very sparkly! I'm pleased with my choice to powder coat them.

Picked it up from the bodyshop after recent rear light meeting with a reversing cars tow bar. Driver said he'd pay without going through insurance. Funny though, he's now not returning my calls or txts guess it's time to infdorm his insurance. I hope his premiums rocket!!! mine will almost certainly go up even though not my fault

Would have better without 3 hours bumbling around a town looking for a vet (don't ask - long story) - up until then we'd done 1/4 distance at an average 42.2mpg!

I’m really, really impressed with the quality and fit of these. They go into all the right areas, the as-fitted clips are really strong and slip between side trim & existing carpet so hold the new carpet firmly.

Roof boxes fitted;





Half an hour to fit, 20 mins of learning curve and ten mins of twiddling wingnuts. Really pleased with these.

Now, dashcams. Not good news here, I fitted a piggyback into a spare fuseway in the boot fuse box, but no joy. I may give up on this bit of the job!

The children have been told that if they’re naughty, they can go one per roofbox. I’ll cut air holes in the bottom and pass drinks up through the sunroof…

Started the Smart Roadster and ran it up to full temperature.
It's not been driven for 3 years but started first turn of the key. Discs aren't rusted, everything works too. Only issue I had was the key fob battery was dead so no way to disable the immobiliser. New battery soon sorted that (thanks Amazon.fr - it uses an uncommon size so no way to get one locally).
Just need to source a new timing chain and get it back on the road. Felt quite nostalgic sitting it in as it warmed up to temperature!
