The horrendous roads totally destroyed the front suspension and 2 sets of front tyres in 10 months. I had to decide whether to put a set of shocks, springs, top mounts, control arms, tyres, front wheel bearings etc.Whatever happened to the 642 modding?

Know it well …enjoy .A207 now out of winter storage and now away for a long weekend on Anglesey. Lovely drive down, excellent Welsh pothole free roads! What a joy to drive on. Down to Benllech Beach in a bit with the other half and the Labrador! Probably involve a chippy lunch!

I think MB do this on purpose to give their garages £££ for diagnostics check.
Front & rear discs & pads replacement is over £1,000 at MB for a 212.Have had warning on CLK 'break wear visit workshop' for around 10 days.

Have not used MB for decades, Indie in Mansfield has the CLK for service/MOT every year regardless of mileage, usually around 4K miles a year.Only if one is daft enough to go to MB. Check your pads
