Looks like the forum has removed the picture to save us before we can even see it…:p:D
That would be far too easy.

A clue, it has a OM654

Have had warning on CLK 'break wear visit workshop' for around 10 days.
Checked brake fluid, OK also no leaks underneath.
Has now miraculously has cured it's self, no warning.
I think MB do this on purpose to give their garages £££ for diagnostics check.

Whatever happened to the 642 modding?
The horrendous roads totally destroyed the front suspension and 2 sets of front tyres in 10 months. I had to decide whether to put a set of shocks, springs, top mounts, control arms, tyres, front wheel bearings etc.

All the while it's off the road and I'm driving the S class or other not suitable commuters in the meantime.

A207 now out of winter storage and now away for a long weekend on Anglesey. Lovely drive down, excellent Welsh pothole free roads! What a joy to drive on. Down to Benllech Beach in a bit with the other half and the Labrador! Probably involve a chippy lunch!
Know it well …enjoy .

Only if one is daft enough to go to MB. Check your pads

Front & rear discs & pads replacement is over £1,000 at MB for a 212.
My local garage did them for £450.

Wash, polish and Sonax for the MB and the BMW this weekend, interiors done as well as moved a Ton (Literally) of wood last weekend to loads of detritus in them both.

AG Ultra Deep Shine is VERY good on the chrome trim with a bit of elbow grease

Have not used MB for decades, Indie in Mansfield has the CLK for service/MOT every year regardless of mileage, usually around 4K miles a year.

Isn't that message usually triggered by pad wear sensors? I'm surprised that its gone away.
I take it that as you've checked the fluid levels, you've visually checked the pads for wear as well.
