I don't see the point of giving your MPG figure from the "from Start" part of the trip computer, surely the overall since reset gives you a better idea?

Anyway, over 4000 miles the average on the trip says 33mpg, do a tank to tank calculation shows 37mpg average, all types of driving, mixed dual and A roads town and lanes. not too bad, but i still think it could be better.

Well, I decatted my ML270 and new filters and oil etc and got my best ever tankful, 30.5mpg.
Manifolds next, lets see if we can squeeze a little more out of her.

I also just filled up the BMW Z3, 2.8i.
44 litres when in after 341 miles, which gives a pretty incredible 35.2mpg.
Mind you even when I hoof it around everywhere it never drops below 27mpg.
I did a 90 mile round trip the other night and it returned just over 40mpg.

All stop start town driving at an average of 17mph returns 25mpg , exactly what the "official" figure is.

in the 2300 miles since I got it , 45.6 mpg which isnt bad for a 9 year old big heavy bus . I'm probably driving a bit slower than normal but i managed an average of 49.1 on a trip from Ipswich to Cheshire last Sunday sitting at 70 on cruise .

I'm away at the moment and driving a Peugeot 407 2.0L Diesel. Put 50€ in the tank have done 550km and the trip is telling me there are 220 km till fill up. So with the € = aprox £0.80 someone might be able to do the maths. Diesel is about 1€ per litre some places €.969 if you are there and need fuel. . You can't floor it and make the back end sit down but it goes OK ish. LOL. That will all change in a few days and I will be able to do it.

Getting about 27mpg which for a car of this weight and power is quite acceptable.

31.28 mpg over the last 5 weeks since I bought the replacement shed.
Quite incredible considering it spends more time in city traffic than it does actually moving.

So far after driving across Europe to Tuscany I've done just over 1200 miles and averaging 43.4mpg. When I did the 900 mile drive to get here I averaged 47.2mpg. The drop has been due to short journeys to places to visit. Furthest being Florence which was about 40 miles from where we're staying. On most long journeys sticking to the speed limits I get 47-50mpg and round town/short journeys I'm getting about 30-32mpg in my C350 CDI (231ps engine)

Did you manage to avoid traffic on the Bournemouth Spur Road, it can be a nightmare sometimes at Week-ends.
