Hi, today I have just been bequeathed a low mileage immaculate 2007 C220 CDI (a W203 I think).
It has the iPod connector in the glove box.

I want to get an aftermarket DAB/Bluetooth radio unit so I can listen to DAB stations as well as play music and receive phone calls from my iPhone via bluetooth.

I would rather not replace the factory stereo with a Pioneer or Kenwood etc unit. I'd like to keep it original.

Does anyone know my options? (either using the iPod connector or some other way).

Thank you for your help.

Hello and welcome

I added a Nextbase DAB pretty easy to do and great sound quality and reception.

I used the RF modulator initially then bought a 3.5mm jack socket lead from eBay that plugs into the connector that the iPod interface lead uses.
With the head unit switched to AUX it works and sounds great.

Sorry for the thread hijack.
I've just brought a 2007 C220 CDi estate as a project car but unfortunatly it's one of the models that doesn't come with the wiring harness for a AUX in.
Apart from a new head unit is there any other options for plugging in my Highway DAB player.

I have now had a new audio system installed in my 2007 C220 CDi.
I have this cable left over if it is any use to you. It has an iPod type plug on the end which is normally in the glovebox. I believe there are adaptor leads you can get for these.

Thanks MacBaydn, that's sounds great. Does this lead come from the back of the stereo into the glovebox?

Yes, I believe it does. I had my audio new installed by a company so I didn’t see where the lead came from.
