The engine management light came on the other day and when I checked the OBD reader it came up with the above fault code...P22A6.

I eventually cleared the message and took it for a long high speed run using the Sport+ gearbox setting and keeping the revs above 2000 - 2500.

I think its related to NOx sensor but could be generic..........any advice gratefully received...its in for a proper diagnostic check next week.

Quite possible. A proper diagnosis on Star or similar will confirm. If it is try to get MB to replace it FOC.

Hi , just wondering which is the best software tool for my e220 2012 , is it the icarsoft , which one ?
EML is on again prob coz of my dpf , local garage checked for faults sensors etc , saud all was good just reset the values and car ran good , just the fact I ain’t been a run to get it to regenerate , wud I b able to reset the values With the icarsoft

The i980 is the oldest one , the MB2 , and the latest is the V2 (?) which does cars other than MB’s as well .
So probably the MB2 as a minimum

I’ll have to wait for someone else to answer , I am pretty sure that a dpf reset is not possible on the MB2, although I don’t have a dpf on my cars .

The V2.0 is the updated version of the MB-II therefore go with a V2.0 over an MB-II
The CR-Pro us the multi vehicle one and if you have multiple vehicles may be a better choice.
You'll need to check with ICarsoft as to what is supported on your vehicle.

Also look at the Autel AP200 if you have an Android phone. Again check with Autel as to what it supports on your vehicle.

Is your engine the om651 Neil? if so I have the CR pro and if I mind tomorrow I can check if it does a regen

Because it costs extra :D

Because they dont want you to know whats going on.esp the bit about 20 min running at 12mpg burn more fuel to be green is a hard sell...

It's amazing how many people are travelling to a motorway to drive up and down with the sole purpose of trying to get the dpf to regenerate .

Not all that popular, but my view, simply put because with just about anything emissions ,they can get away with it. Eml light.no mot,captive market. Dealers,warm.yr hands. Wait.simple.

the most effective way of keeping all this emissions stuff in good order, is to make the components avail at a reasonable price thus making all the evasion schemes pointless. the makers current policies and the various states acceptance of the same is what drives the delete,patch, removal of these expensive and unreliable items. i have yet to have issues ,but based on what i read its likely just a matter of time, and less of that than i would like

If I get a chance today at some time I will check out that CR pro to see if it can do a regen Neil, never got a chance yesterday with other commitments
