Hi,
I posted here a couple of months back regarding a new Transmission Control Unit fitted to my CL600. Following this, there was, and still remains a big difference in the drive of the car, with the cars drive almost feeling like it's being held back, with some sort of resistance on the drive. This is best demonstrated when driving downhill, not applying the accelarator, and the car slowing, when I'd have thought it would increase in speed. I've not been able to find a resolution or an answer I like to that one, however there is another issue, which could be related........hopefully as ever, you guys might be able to assist or shed some light on this.

Once the car has been idle, and all cooled down, when I then get into the car to drive, the first dozen or so gear changes are very jerky and delayed. Let;'s say if I've slowed down for a speed bump, and then apply the accelarator, the gear change will kick in perhaps a second after expected, and it will also be very jerky. This would usually continue for maybe the first 2 or 3 minutes of driving, and then it returns back to normal smooth changes.
Any ideas? Could this be related to the resistance felt in the drive? Or am I being over critical of my expectations of the car? It certainly wasn't like this prior to the new Transmission Control Unit. As usual, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark
