Hi folks!

I've discovered two mystery connectors underneath the Stereo in my old 300TE 24.

Here's some pictures :-

Does anyone have any idea what they might be for..?

I haven't got any reversing lights so I think one of them might be for that..!

Thanks for reading.

Cheers.

Just a stab in the dark.... possibly connector of the back of a cigarette lighter socket or bulb?

Again - a wild guess sorry :(

From memory, the first one is the connector for the stereo which connects to the ATA alarm system

The second looks like the connector for the heater air sampling device in the rooflight assembly. I've never seen one down by the stereo but early cars have quite a few differences to the late cars I'm used to

Many thanks guys. I think I'll leave them alone!

I've also found a socket with a rotary switch attached. Looks like some sort of front to rear speaker fader? Not sure!

Is the reversing light switch anywhere near the gearstick or is it down on the gearbox itself? (5 speed manual box).

Cheers.
