Noticed the ABS light on and a quick inspection revealed the problem. The ABS 'reluctor' ring had split on the rear drivers side.
No easy fix I presume apart from getting the half shaft out and replacing the ring.
Just looking for some tips on how to do this and is a special press tool required?
Appears to bolt to the differential flange to flange so that looks OK to get off, but then its releasing the half shaft at the hub end with the splined drive behind the 32mm 12 point nut that's puzzling me. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks for reading my post

Not sure I follow?

Do you not just remove the 12point nut, remove the top arm or bottom arm for more room and pull the shaft out?

Done that on a 210.
I had the half shaft to diff stupid (me?) hex head bolt 'round out'.
The rest was quite easy, once the 32 mm half shaft hub nut was removed.
