Morning, is it a DIY to check the oil level in a 2010 A150 Automatic?

No real problem but recently when I take it out of the garage the first gear lever movement clunks as I move it backwards. After that everything is smooth no problems at all. Its just that one time from cold.
When I say cold it may still be warm from 24 hours earlier when I put it in the garage.

Ambients here are in the 30C plus range and night time 25C presently.

This coincided with our weather becoming summer in anger.

2010 A150 Auto 32,000 miles.

Appreciate comments.

Your Mercedes
E300 Coupe AMG Line PP/NE, SLR McLaren Roadster, SL55 & C32AMG
You need the correct dipstick to check.

I would suggest its just the car settling on the park pawl so when you pull it out it clunks. My C class does the same. Nothing to worry about
