Hello all,
After your direction please.
A well used 2.3-16v (220k miles) that I've inherited and am trying to get going again.
One of the issues I have is with the electric sunroof - it will go back at the press of the button. Every time. A bit at a time. Absolutely no delay. However, most times when I depress the switch the other way.....nothing! So it can take up to 15 minutes of sitting there pushing the button before it finally comes forward again. I think I have been lucky in always getting it back tbh, so I would really like to clear this one.
The second issue which I've not noticed before, but did for the first time the other day is a similar behaviour from the passenger front electric window. Went down fine, but would not go up for a few times depressing the button. In the end, went up fine as expected.
Important to state that the running speed of both closures is as per normal. There doesn't appear to be any problem once it is finally going.
As always, very much appreciate your knowledge on this.
Thanks,
Rob
