Hey,

I have a W204 OM651 with the 722.6 gearbox - turns out the filler pipe has snapped (completely sheared off) and oil can leak out when driving.

Had the box recently serviced aswell, so thinking I replace the pipe and top up the transmission with oil.

Is it easy to replace the pipe?

TIA

Looks like 3 bolts, and a wiggle and a waggle to pull it up and out.

You might just cap it until next ATF service.
Thanks

So you don’t think the pipe goes inside the box (won’t need to drop it would I) becasue looks like it is in the EPC diagram to me

The pipe is a push fit, from memory. Pull up and it's out.
Tbh unless the break is v close to the box I would be surprised if oil could egress. Is there evidence of oil escape at the break?

Just see gearbox oil all over, it’s snapped halfway down and maybe when driving down it has enough pressure to spill out idk - I just want to mitigate all potential issues.

Having a headache with control arms at the moment - was sent the wrong parts twice and now got the right ones, but one is faulty. That’s when I saw the oil leak too
