Hi, where can I find some instructions guiding me on how to use my glovebox cd changer on a s203, 220CDI facelift from 2007?

Hi, I'm a bit on the younger side, and as the title says, I'm a bit confused in how to use the cd changer my car has in the glovebox.

Made some CD's for fun, 9 of them, and I have no idea on how to store them inside the cd changer, how to use them once stored etc.

I have tried looking up youtube tutorials but they were mostly about removing the unit, not explaining how to use it.

Thank you!

Anyone over 50 should be worth asking :)

Is it not just a case of feeding it half a dozen CDs & selecting which disc via the screen using the CD button? The CD changer in my R Class would show how many CDs were in it (can't think now how ?? .... )

^ This unless it requires one of those cassette types you have to load into the unit.

I believe it is, yes.

The issue is I don't really know how to operate it haha, kinda afraid to pull on things so it doesnt break or something

Open the glovebox, slide the CD changer cover to the right until it engages.
Press the eject button on the CD changer
The CD changer then eject the 6 tray magazine
The bottom tray is Tray 1, the top tray is Tray 6.
CD are inserted with the printed side upwards
Push the tray back into the magazine. The tray slid out individually for loading.
Slide the cover back to the left when the loaded CD changer magazine is re-inserted.
From the COMANd unit keep pressing the Audio button until a screen appears with Radio, CD and CDC in descending order.

pressing the side button next to CDC (third one down), will show another screen. Magaz. engaged by pressing top left hand button will show full 6 CD contents. If greyed out nothing is loaded in that specific tray number. Select the cd from the 6 you wish to play and a track listing will appear. You can play entire CD of chose your tracks.
PLEASE NOTE SOME CDs will not contain CD title or full track info. Depends on CD.

It’s all fairly intuitive.

If you want more info contact me by using the messenger service on this forum giving you e-mail and I’ll scan and e-mail the full CD changer instructions from my Mercedes Benz COMAND APS booklet
