Recently I have gone through a problem on my 2005 C200 CDI (Automatic). Not everytime, but some times, the car doesn´t change any gears. The PRND in the dashboard won´t show any indicator on what gear the car is, the C/S modality won´t work, and the car will be stuck in first gear, even in Park...
Hi all,
Had an issue recently where after topping up the adblue the light stays on and states the car will not start after 495 miles. Is this likely to simply be a faulty sensor somewhere Or has anyone else faced this? Ive got a 2016 C Class
Thanks

Hi,
My A180d Sport Pre-Glow light appeared on the dash and has stayed on for every journey I’ve made in the last week. I took my car to an independent garage this morning and they’ve run some diagnostics for me and said that the error is showing as an internal electrical fault with one of the...
Hi everyone,
I wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing a fault with their new-shape A-Class slipping into neutral. My dealership (Taunton) are aware of this fault and have told me it's a software issue they don't currently have a resolution for. Their suggestion was that I don't drive...

Hi guys,
So I've had a few niggles with my dynamic seats, suspecting air leaks. Just got hold of an iCarSoft MB II fault code reader, and (aside from 1000 various fault codes...) sure enough I had the following:

a Pressure relief valve opens without active overpressure;

Having looked at the many posts on wiper issues I seem to have a slightly different issue and wondered if the many more experienced posters could shed some light (it's a CLC 2008)

Hi,
I had quite a moment on the M25 today when my S320 CDI without any warning lost drive. All I felt was complete lack of throttle response before the car coasted to a halt. With the engine off drive was restored but only for a few hundred yards, then lost again. I tried this a couple of times...
some of my recent threads highlight the issues I have been having. Here is a brief summary:-
Car was initially hesitating under acceleration at low RPM, initially thought to be a gearbox issue, however my opinion was air in fuel after checking a clear section of pipe. A temporary clear...
Hi,
I've had a series if problems recently. Some seem trivial but I'll detail all just in case they are relevant.
First, the car went dead and wouldn't start. We wondered if this was due to having lights left on.. jumped it and all seemed ok. Once in a while we got the problem where the...
Hi all - have got some major work planned on the ABC system on my SL55 - valve block overhaul (x2), new accumulators, 1 x level sensor, fluid, filter etc.. but the only item I'm not (currently!) replacing is the Pressure Relief valve block. One of the symptoms I'm getting is an occasional...
